This is obviously weight dependant but we deal with winds of between 12-25 knots in the Western Cape so any size between 6 and 12.

All lessons and rental come with rescue service included. If you are an independant kiter with your own gear a small fee is asked for rescue/assistance and gear retrieval.

Yes, each self catering room has their own allocated outdoor lockup equipment store and the communal Kitehouse also has access to equipment stores. There is no charge for this service and it is on a first come first serve basis but we normally have sufficient space to keep everyone happy.
This is a nick name and not its actual name but it was so named after small little harmless sand sharks that used to love these waters but have since moved on after being stood on so often.
Not necessarily, 2 kiting spots are within a short walking distance but Shark Bay is a little out of town and you need to drive there. We have a Bakkie (pick-up) which runs frequently between all these spots as we conduct our lessons. Our guests are welcome to hop on the back and grab a ride, there is no charge for this service.
Yes there are two banks in town and we may be able to accommodate you on sight.

Langebaan is perfect for an active outdoor person, we have mountain biking, kayaking, SUP, sailing, horseriding and so much more. There are also many interesting coastal towns to visit and out very own National Park.
